*About the Forum

This forum aims to highlight Taiwan’s growing significance as a clean technology innovator and the expanding partnership between our two economies in the field of clean energy. To underscore the profound importance of encouraging leaders in all sectors, public and private, to work together to stimulate clean energy advances at the key grass-roots level, the forum features a large-scale opening ceremony, with remarks by senior Taiwan national and local leaders and U.S. government representatives. U.S. and Taiwan forum participants gather for a series of dynamic seminar discussions focusing on U.S. and Taiwan approaches to clean energy innovation. Forum participants also have the opportunity to visit some of Taipei’s cutting-edge green technology innovations. This forum is the premier event for government officials and industry professionals who share a passion for decreasing the world’s carbon footprint through public-private partnerships and technology innovation. The second U.S.-Taiwan Clean Energy Forum demonstrates how national policies, local initiatives and private sector innovation can work hand-in-hand, both in the United States and Taiwan, to accelerate a clean energy future.
